How to hear your true desires. True desires: understand and embody

Svetlana Rumyantseva

Dissatisfaction is a feeling that arises in the life of every person. The reasons are not always clear. Guessing, throwing, searching for an answer sometimes take years. Precious time is gone, but satisfaction does not come. How to understand your desires? Where to find the path to the subconscious to find yourself? From today you have to change your life for the better and do it wisely.

self-knowledge

Self-study is an important task for the individual, but not everyone reaches the last of the three levels of self-knowledge:

An individual is the knowledge of oneself as a representative of a biological species.
The social individual is an understanding of one's place in society.
Personality is a representation of oneself. At this stage, a person is independent in making decisions and looking at the world. The third level of self-knowledge is revealed through the image of "I". A person consciously in verbal form can build a concept-image of himself, his own desires, preferences, aspirations, perception of the world. The built image is:

Watch yourself, emotions more often. Your unconscious reaction will point you in the right direction. If something causes fatigue and irritation, then this is definitely not what you need.

Intuitive Drawing

Make time for yourself. Draw whatever you want, from lines and zigzags to complex compositions with multiple characters and lots of detail. Take the paints and color the resulting image. You can immediately use colored pencils and felt-tip pens.

This is where the Luscher test comes in handy. It can be easily accessed on the internet. Remember the most attractive colors and the ones you like the least. Look at your picture. If you painted yourself in an unpleasant color, then something is going wrong.

Let's say you don't like blue, but you love green. In blue you will draw everything that you subconsciously do not like, and in green what you really like. For example, a girl draws a catwalk model with an unloved color. Consciously, she thinks that this is her ideal, but the subconscious answers differently. Some aspirations are instilled in us from outside. A color test will help you uncover differences and decide what is really important to you.

A look into the future

Think about it? Are there specific plans for the future and an idea of how to move towards the goal? What are you doing to achieve it now? Consider if you enjoy this process. Where did the idea come from, did you make the decision yourself?

If you're in law school and don't know what to do next, chances are you're in the wrong place.

Following suggested desires leads a person to a dead end. The absence of a goal and an idea of the result speaks of the unnaturalness of actions.

On the way to self-determination

It takes time to understand yourself. Illumination will not descend upon you the minute you decide on a new experiment. Self-knowledge lasts a lifetime. You and your desires change. The main thing is to be able to determine the direction.

Communicate with your subconscious. Bringing hidden desires into a conscious space, do not be afraid to fulfill them (if it does not harm others). Learn to independently immerse the idea into the subconscious, then it will mobilize all the forces to fulfill the desire. Use your hidden abilities.

Use visualization to activate your subconscious mind. It is not enough to think about your desire, you need to present it in all colors. The more believable and convincing the picture, the higher the likelihood that you will achieve your goal. For example, if you want to move to another city, think about it, imagine its streets and yourself wandering through them. Draw in your fantasies a new apartment with a view of local attractions, think over the smallest details, feel that you feel good in a new place. This will convince the subconscious, and it will open your inner reserves for further action.

To fulfill desires, first of all, you need to find what to fulfill. This is often difficult. The thing is that we can not always distinguish our goal from a false one. In many cases, we ourselves do not know what we want. Or it seems to us that we know, but in fact, this is not our desire, but inspired.

Of course, one can also strive to fulfill not a true desire, but, as a rule, this is given with great difficulty and does not bring a state of happiness.

The difference between false and true desires

True desire comes from the heart. This is what you really strive for, what inspires you. What makes your eyes glow and your soul rejoice.

False desires do not give positive emotions, they can be identified by discomfort and lack of intention to act. They raise doubts in the form of intuitive sensations that this is NOT WHAT IS NEEDED. Not mine. The soul does not rejoice, does not sing.

True desires are achieved without serious mental, physical, energy costs. You move towards them quickly, go with the flow. False desires are a path with obstacles and failures, with high energy costs.

Fulfillment of true desires brings happiness, false desires - emptiness.

How to determine your desire

To find your desires, you need to listen to your subconscious, if it tells you “Yes”, you will feel it in the form of positive sensations, if “no”, you will feel obvious discomfort.

In general, you need to allow yourself to be such a courageous person in order to discover your true essence in yourself, to understand it. For this you

you should train your ability to love yourself unconditionally. Your main task is to accept yourself, to allow your subconscious mind to tell you what you really want.

True desires make it difficult to recognize not only not love for yourself, but also guilt, as well as the influence of others around you.

Perhaps you want something because you don't feel guilty about it. For example, your father tells you that you are a bad person because you don't work with your hands like all men. And you have a subtle soul that wants creative realization. But in order not to have guilt, you can follow the will of your father and make a wish to become a highly qualified European repairman. But that is not your goal. This is the road to nowhere. Learn to say "no" to other people. Allow yourself to be yourself, walking your own path, fulfilling your desires.

Stereotypes are also obstacles to finding a sincere dream. For example, you make a wish to have a happy family, children… But you don’t really like children, you are not ready for a serious relationship. But that's how it's supposed to be. After all, you are already 30 ...

Let it go. If you really want another, then do not go after false goals. Allow yourself, until you are ripe for something serious, to just date a nice woman or man, or live alone if you really need it now.

In addition, you should try something new more often and listen to your subconscious mind at the same time. What does it tell you when you, for example, get behind the wheel of a car? Or think about a second education? Or when going to sea? Do you experience excitement, excitement, joy? Or, on the contrary, you do not like something, it causes discomfort or indifference in you.

Catch positive signals, they will point you to what you really need in this world.

Ask yourself what you dreamed about as a child. What sparked a fire in your soul? Yes, you have abandoned your path because of some kind of prejudice or outside influence. But you can return to yourself. Perhaps your true desire is hidden in childhood. Grab a pen and paper right now and write down everything you wanted to do before that inspired and called for action.

Give your subconscious mind a task before bed. Ask him to remind you of what you really want. Sometimes this method works. A clear answer or hint may come.

Be more often alone with nature, communicate with it, while listening to the voice of your subconscious. In nature, where no one bothers you, the chance to hear your soul increases.

WITH The easiest way to understand a true desire or not is to ask yourself: “what do I need this for?”. If your answer speaks of your happiness and fullness of life, then you can begin to transform your goal. And if, in the answer, there are phrases like “it’s customary”, “to be loved”, “because it’s cool”, etc., then forget about this desire.

You can also determine whether this desire is mine or not, in the process of achieving it. If you initially encounter obstacles, if everything goes wrong, if you are moving away from the goal rather than approaching it, if you are not happy in your soul, then let go of this goal. Find a new one that is truly yours.

A method to understand your cherished desires

One way to find the innermost goal is the method of restrictions. Imagine that in a couple of years the end of the world will come. You have 2 years left. You are healthy, full of energy, you have an abundance of money, but in a couple of years the planet earth will collapse. Think carefully, what would you do? How would you help people? Where would you go? How would you spend your free time? How would you show your creativity? Who would you like to communicate with?

Write down the answers, and then play a positive scenario in your mind: in fact, there is no end of the world, the scientists were wrong, and our beautiful planet earth will live happily ever after and so will we.

Exercise "Positive life planning"

A very good exercise that is taught to future parapsychologists, it will increase your self-awareness and help you understand the true goals:

In your journal entry, answer the following questions:

First reflection: What desires have influenced you so far. Especially pay attention to what had a significant impact on your destiny.

Second reflection: Who am I? How should I think, feel and act in order to bring myself closer to my ideal image.

Third reflection: Why didn't you become what you wanted to be.

Reflection #4: What values can fill your life with meaning and make it happy.

To get an answer to this question, look at yourself and your life from the end point. Ask yourself how you would like to live it, to be proud of yourself in old age, to tell yourself that I have lived (a) a life full of positive impressions, joy and happiness. That I achieved (achieved) what I wanted (a)?

Fifth reflection - think about your "I-image", and why it does not match the ideal.

Is your “I” really yours or is there an external influence on the ideal image, and you strive to become someone not for your own sake, but for the sake of society, which dictates to you who you should be.

The sixth reflection - why did you live your life this way, did you follow your own path or is this path connected with other people's landmarks?

Seventh reflection - what will you do to change your life, to live in accordance with your true self?

Do the exercise for one hour every 2-3 days. Answer only one question at a time. Then reread your notes. Repeat meditations 4 and 7 periodically, first once a week, then once a month.

In a maximum of a year, you will clearly know your guidelines and be able to live your dreams and values!

Additional tip: In order to understand your main desire - destiny, you can turn to astrology. Make an individual horoscope.

Everything you need to know to find your true desires. And when you find them, it may surprise you very much. Don't believe? Then read on.

In the article about it was already said that the main difficulty is that we ourselves do not know what we want. It only needs to be determined your true desires, as the calling will become an obvious fact, and it will no longer be necessary to look for it.

But that's the whole point: how to find your true desires? What does true mean? And why the hell does it often happen that you don't want anything at all?

There may be several reasons for this.

1. Lack of desire. In the vast majority of books and articles on finding your calling, the following method is offered: imagine that you have no measure of money, everything already exists: a luxurious house, a car, a yacht, and in general everything that you can wish for money. You have already traveled the whole world about twenty times, and you are already concretely fed up with it.

Represented? Now tell me, what would you do in this case?

Most people will say: yes nothing! Now I have everything, leave me alone, I'll lie on the couch and go crazy from the fact that I already have everything. What else to wish for?

With your mind, of course, you understand that such a life will soon become very boring, because there is nothing more to wish for. And that all these things are purely consumer, and you need to want something for the soul. But the soul keeps silent to itself, for it has lost the habit of desiring anything.

How can you listen to your soul?

Meditate more often. There are quite simple but effective ways of meditation. For example, on . This will help, over time, to calm down the internal “chat” and finally hear your Inner Self, which never makes mistakes and knows exactly what it wants.

We always strive for the forbidden and desire the unlawful.
Ovid

2. Lack of energy. Modern man has a very low energy level. Too much artificial food, too much junk information, too much stress and constant lack of sleep.

All this takes a lot of energy, leaving no opportunity not only to dream and desire, but simply to enjoy at least something in life. Such a gray, monotonous existence from day to day.

Hence also comes the absence of the habit of desiring, as discussed in the previous paragraph.

They say that we all know how to really wish in childhood, but over time we forget how it is done. Actually it is not. You can't forget what you already know how to do. You can lose a skill, but you can't forget it. It's like riding a bike: you can always sit back and ride again if you've already done it once.

Another thing is that we are often simply afraid to use our forgotten skills. If you take the same bike, then an adult is sometimes terribly scared to get on it. What if it falls down? Will break something else for itself inadvertently.

It is the same with desires. An adult is simply already afraid, although he knows how, to desire something, because this can greatly change the established world. And a person already has so many worries that I just don’t want to add new ones.

After all, even to maintain the familiar world is often not enough energy. Therefore, a person most often says that he does not know what he wants, but in fact he does not want to know. So it is safer, easier and easier to live.

3. High expectations. For some reason, many people think that true desires should be hoo!

To love, like a queen, to lose, like a million!
From the movie "Moscow does not believe in tears"

In fact, because the desire is petty and momentary, it does not cease to be true. If you feel like going to the toilet, then this desire is completely true, although not impressive, of course. Unless, you are impatient in a big way in the middle of the crowd somewhere in the subway. That's when it'll be fun.

Have you ever tried to just lie on the couch, but do it very consciously? And get a kick out of it? And to understand that sometimes true desires are very simple and accessible, only we do not pay attention to them, believing that they should be somehow more impressive and larger or something.

The less desire I have, the closer I am to the gods.
Socrates

In our daily life of such true desires, a cart and a small cart arise. But we do not notice them, considering them something insignificant. And this is a completely wrong approach.

Do you know how easy it is to fix this? Just every time such a momentary and simple desire arises, think of it not as a desire, but as a needs. Need - sounds more weighty and serious. The need is not so easy to dismiss. Like the need to go to the toilet when you feel like it. Right?

We have forgotten how to appreciate what we already have. Most of us have a roof over our heads, cold and hot tap water, electricity, gas, a cozy toilet, a refrigerator with food, a soft bed with white sheets, the Internet with a lot of information, mobile communications and a lot of other goodies.

Yes, in medieval Europe, any king would hang himself with envy!

But we don't appreciate it. These things have become familiar, everyday.

However, it is worth at least some detail to disappear for a while (for example, they turned off the light in the whole house), as we immediately begin to get nervous and feel in our own skin: from a pancake, but the convenience has disappeared! And somehow it became uncomfortable right away, and even a little scary, and you are already craving the speedy restoration of electricity in the house, scolding vile electricians.

Until we learn to rejoice, appreciate and thank the Universe for all those things, skills and abilities that we already have, we are unlikely to achieve anything more.

Think for a moment about people who are crippled, who lack limbs, or vision, or hearing, or some other serious health problem. And understand how wealthy you are already.

Until we learn to rejoice, appreciate and thank the Universe for all those things, skills and abilities that we already have, we are unlikely to achieve anything more ...

4. Negative. Most of the time, we are not focused on what we want, but on the exact opposite - on what we DO NOT want, or what we lack.

This is a fundamentally wrong approach! Here the point is not even whether the Universe understands the “not” particle or does not understand it. It’s just that when a person is focused on what he doesn’t want, or on what he doesn’t have, then he doesn’t have time to think at all: what then does he want.

In fact, we can say that if a person denies something in his life and does not want to receive it (illness, poverty, loneliness, etc.), then this can also be called a true desire. After all, he really wants this - not to get sick, not to be poor, not to be lonely.

But the problem is that a person only thinks about this, day after day, thereby maintaining the "light" of this negative desire. He is so used to it that if it is really taken away from him abruptly, then a person can easily experience shock and stress. How! What he had lived for so long and what he passionately hated disappeared. How to live now further?

So, the trick is not just to NOT WISH something, but to find a positive replacement for it, to WISH. If you don’t want to be sick and dead, wish to become healthy and strong. If you don't want to live in poverty, you want to be rich. And so on. It's simple, but few people think about it.

By the way, there is a very interesting book "Live with feeling". Written by Danielle Laporte.

Here's what the description of the book says:

… We strive for some things and goals, hoping that achieving them will make us feel better. What if you first clearly define how you want to feel and what you want to do, and only then figure out your intentions and goals?

That is, a method by contradiction is proposed. You first decide what you want to experience and feel in your life, and then you base your true desires on that. I think it's both fairer and smarter.

Not sure what you want to feel and experience? Here's a hint for you:

Everyone wants to live in safety, well-being and joy. These are the true desires of any person. But what tools he uses for this - these are exactly the things that he truly wants, the events in which he wants to participate, and the people with whom he wants to communicate.

And further. True desires make it easy to give correct answer to the question: " Why do I need it?» There can be only one correct answer: if it is necessary for a feeling of fullness of life, a sense of satisfaction, for joy, happiness, pleasure, financial well-being, then the desire is true.

If your answer to this question sounds something like this: “I need this in order to be no worse than others, to be loved and respected by others, because it is accepted in society, because others have it ...”, then your desire is 100% not true.

4.4. Let's declare our goals to life

Now that relative calm has been established in your head, and the quiet prompts of your patron will not be trampled on by herds of uncontrolled thoughts, you can safely begin to use your new opportunities to achieve your desired goals. It is desirable to do this, especially at first, in a certain sequence.

Reveal your true desires
At the initial stage of applying the event shaping technique, you should figure out what you really want I ? Or, in other words, which peak should you climb?

This is necessary so that later you do not make claims to Life for not fulfilling your desires. Life always fulfills them, only we often do not know what we want! More precisely, in the head we want one thing, but in the soul - another. And Life fulfills what we desire in the soul.

How does it work? For example, you are sincerely sure that you want to find a new job and get more money. But in your heart you have a fear that you are too old or that you are too low qualified, or something like that. Now you know that this is an idealization (that is, an exaggeration) of your imperfection. But this fear is your true order of Life: “I don’t want to move anywhere, because I won’t be able to cope with work in a new place! I'm scared, leave me alone!" Life picks up on this hidden message of yours and makes it so that all your half-hearted attempts to find another job fail, and you stay where you are now. Your true wish has come true!

Or a girl declares that she wants to get married, and is very worried about the fact that there is no and no beloved. But in her soul there was a fear that she could be deceived again, like last time (or like her friend). Or that she can't cook and will be a bad wife. Or that a man will restrict her freedom or humiliate her. Or something else. And this hidden fear, that is, a message to Life: “I don’t want to get married!!! I'm afraid!" successfully blocks her new acquaintances.

Another example. An elderly mother really wants to get rid of a serious illness, and makes a lot of efforts for this. But illness for her is a way of controlling relatives, by which she periodically announces that they have brought her to such a state. But if she recovers, then she will not have a tool to manipulate her relatives, and this situation will not suit her in any way. So her true desire is to have a disease, and harder, because it gives her clear benefits. And it is impossible for her to recover, therefore Life fulfills her true desire - to have an illness.

And so on. Our true desires often differ from those that we declare out loud and which are often sources of experience. A Life fulfills, first of all, our true desires. If you know them, then you will better understand how and why you created the situation that you have today.

So, at this stage, you need to try to determine your true life goals.

You can do this in a variety of ways.

You can re-analyze your current state and try to determine what benefits you derive from it. Or what fears do not allow you to make changes for the better. And what do you really want, and what do you strive for under the influence of the people around you, trying to please the opinion of your parents, friends or just acquaintances. That is, to work in a completely rational and logical way. If you have a well-developed logical thinking, then you will definitely come to the right results, and separate the true goals from the untrue ones.

Or you can use the help of your egregore, having received the desired tips from him. This can be done in a variety of ways. You can try using a method called "automatic writing". With this method, you will be able to receive information from your subconscious. By the concept of "subconscious" here we mean some invisible thread connecting the subtle bodies of a person with the egregor patronizing him.

Exercise “My True Goals”
To get the information you need:

 • prepare a piece of paper and a pen;
 • sit down at the table in a calm atmosphere (turn off the phone, turn off the radio and TV, exclude other people from contacting you);
 • pick up a pen;
 • put your hands on the table so that you can start writing at any time without effort and movement;
 • relax, stop running thoughts for a few minutes;
 • After that, start mentally asking yourself questions like: "What are my true goals and desires? What benefits do I derive from my situation? What prevents me from changing my situation for the better?" and the like.
 • After that, you need to sit quietly and wait for what thoughts (individual words, phrases, images) will appear in your head. No need to ponder your questions or convulsively squeeze out answers from your subconscious. You just need to sit and calmly wait until some thoughts appear in your head.
 • As soon as any thought appears in your head, you immediately need to write it down on a piece of paper and wait for the next one. Your subconscious at normal tuning will give you 5-15 different answers if you slow down the running of thoughts for 10-20 minutes.
 • All thoughts must be written down immediately, completely excluding their evaluation, analysis and comparison. In no case should you turn on your "word mixer" during this procedure. Complete peace of mind, trust, and the results will be on paper. Answers can be specific, or they can be general - write down absolutely everything that comes to your mind.
Your task at this stage of interaction with the subconscious is not to evaluate, but only to write down any thoughts or words, even if they are abusive. Whatever pops up in your head - do not worry, but simply write down these often chaotic thoughts on paper, once again mentally ask yourself a question and wait for answers to it.

The appearance of "garbage" at the first stages of work with the subconscious is quite understandable. You haven't paid attention to the signals from your subconscious for so many years, so that the channel between you clogged with all sorts of nonsense, became full of distorted and alien information. When the channel is cleared, you will begin to receive clear answers, but not everyone gets it the first time.

After writing down 5-15 answers, you can return to the normal state of consciousness (i.e. start logical thinking, criticism) and try to understand what is written. Perhaps the information received will completely coincide with your idea of youself, and you will receive what you already knew well. This will be an excellent result, which will indicate that you are already actively using the prompts of your subconscious mind, and it has nothing more to tell you.

But this rarely happens. Often the answers you get from automatic writing are very different from what you're used to thinking about yourself. Do not rush to discard what you seem to disagree with! Try to walk around with this for a few days, reflect on the answers you received. And for sure, if you are internally honest, you will agree with the correctness of the information received. And revealing your true goals and desires is a big step towards the end result.

When doing this exercise, it is important not to confuse your own fussy mind with the voice of your subconscious mind. Therefore: no internal discussions or ratings! To build a conversation with an internal interlocutor, if it arises, it is possible only according to one scheme: silence - question - answer - silence ...

What to do with revealed true desires
But really, what to do with those fears or other hidden benefits that you previously diligently pushed into the depths of your subconscious, and now suddenly pulled into the light? And do you understand that it is they who are now clearly blocking your path to the desired goals?

The answer is simple - Make a well-informed choice: what is more valuable to you? Your freedom or marriage with its possible restriction? Your peace of mind with the current salary or a little more money, accompanied by the need to get used to the new team and prove their worth there? Your health or desire to instruct others "on the right path" at any cost?

Make an informed choice and calm down.
You can choose peace of mind with a small salary - this will be an excellent choice, because is it worth spending your nervous energy for the sake of money? Or you can choose a new job with a higher salary, and consider the accompanying excitement as a return to youth with its irrepressible desires, and what could be better than this?
In the case of marriage, the girl must consciously decide what is dearer to her. She can choose freedom, but at the same time she must find something to do for all subsequent evenings and nights and not worry if sometimes no one is next to her. Or she can choose marriage, agreeing in advance that she will have to sacrifice some of her independence and even enjoy it (otherwise family life will turn into a battle for independence, but this will be the behavior of a person who is not aware of the consequences of her actions). And so on. Make a choice and calm down - Life loves those who smile, it helps them achieve their true goals.

AND do not turn your life into constant worries about whether you made the right choice - this will be a manifestation of the idealization of one's imperfection and will lead to the most distressing consequences. Accept that all your decisions are initially correct! You cannot be mistaken, because you communicated through the subconscious with the highest advisers! Your decision is the most correct of all possible, no matter what people around you say about this, and no matter what doubts your “word mixer” throws at you. Only success awaits you!

If there are no goals
If the previous exercise allowed you to identify your true goals and make conscious decisions, then everything is fine, you can go further and begin to declare to Life what you are striving for.

The situation is worse if you could not identify any goals that are significant for you. If, as a result of the exercise, you still do not reach the goals that suit you (in a conscious state), then you can supplement the previous exercise with the following.

Exercise "I am a BILLIONAIRE".
Get a pen and a piece of paper ready.

Take a comfortable position at the table, relax and stop the running of thoughts. Imagine that you have inherited one hundred billion dollars. Try to figure out what the first five steps you will take with such virtually unlimited resources. Write down these steps.
Replay in your mind what will happen in a year if you take these five steps.

If you, reading these lines, think that this is a very easy exercise, then we would like to point out that this is not at all the case. Most people's desires go no further than a Mercedes, an apartment or country house, and a trip to the Bahamas. In addition, these are purely consumer purposes that do not require such large funds. Do you have any secret desires that require almost unlimited resources? Are these purely consumer desires, or did you want to do something big and bright for people?

The proposed exercise helps to “pull out” hidden desires and needs from us (weak connection with distant egregors) and more clearly understand which peak you should climb in the first place.

This is the very first book
methods of Alexander Sviyash, which in the future
developed
like technology
Intelligent life.
Start here:

The book was published with a total circulation of over 25,000 copies. Translated into several languages.
The book has helped many thousands of people to understand the reasons for the failures that occur in their lives, and begin to live successfully and joyfully.

One of the basic ideas of the methodology is quite simple - we don't have to wait for things to change in the way we want, and only then will we have reason to rejoice. In fact, the opposite is true - we we need to start enjoying the life that we have managed to create for ourselves at this moment in time. And from this joyful state, go to the goals that we set for ourselves.
If something does not suit you in the people around you (or in yourself), and you plunge into long-term experiences about this, then Life has no choice but to prove to you the fallacy of your excessively significant expectations. In the proposed methodology, this is called "spiritual educational processes" for the destruction of our excessively significant ideas.

If you understand the signals of Life and remove your claims to it, then you become its favorite, and you can successfully set any reasonable goals for yourself and go towards their realization on the wave of good luck.

The book explains exactly how this can and should be done.
If you have not read anything “from Sviyash” yet, then we recommend starting with this book.
