A lovely sweater made of soft plush yarn is a great gift for a baby. Cozy knitted sweater with the application will bring any kid into a real delight. Yes, and knitting such a sweater for mom is a pleasure.

So, to knit a sweater with an applique for the age of 2 years, you should stock up on the following yarn:

  • 2 skeins of red Alize soft and half a skein of white from the same series;
  • half a skein of red Alize baby bull (for cuffs);
  • leftovers of white, black and blue yarn (of the same density) - for appliqué.

For knitting, hook No. 3.5 and knitting needles No. 3 are used. Knitting density: 3 * 3 cm = 7 rows * 7 loops.

Let's start knitting. We will knit all cuffs and collars with Alize Baby Wool yarn in 2 additions.

We start knitting before. To do this, we knit 10 rows with an elastic band 1X1 from the dialed 42 loops.

Then we switch to Softy yarn and knit with front stitch, adding 4 loops. We knit with a single piece of cloth 66-68 rows:

Then you need to close the central 8 loops:

Further, only one part will be knitted. We knit the row to the end and decrease 1 loop at the end. We knit on the wrong side to the place of closed loops and turn over. Now in this and subsequent front rows you need to knit 2 loops together: the second with the third. So each time there are fewer and fewer loops. When 12-13 loops remain on the needle, you can close them:

We repeat the same for the other side, only mirrored. Before ready:

We knit in the same way backrest. Only with a solid canvas it is worth knitting 4 more rows. In the 66th and 70th rows, we cut the extreme loops. Then, in the 72nd row, we close 10 central loops. After that, we knit the right and left parts, as well as the front parts. Ready:

Now let's get to sleeves. We collect 34 loops and knit 8 cm cuff also with an elastic band 1X1.

Then we introduce the Softy thread, and cut that thread:

View from the inside:

We perform 4 additions and knit approximately to the elbow (we measure according to the baby). Next, we begin to gradually add loops, every 4 rows. The result should be 46 loops. We close the loops. It turns out this sleeve:

We knit another one.

Then exactly sew together all details:

After that, we will knit a collar. To do this, we introduce knitting needles into the extreme loops of the neck:

We knit a row of facial:

And then we begin to knit with an elastic band 1X1. So we knit 6-10 rows (depending on the desired height) and close with the elastic closing of the loops:

After that, we start decorating. We knit muzzle bear crochet pattern:

It turns out like this:

Then we knit the bow part separately, using the previous pattern. We knit 2 rows according to the scheme, and then a row with half-columns with a crochet.

Nose.

Then we take white and blue threads. We will knit a triangle hat.

We collect 20 loops and knit 4 rows of elastic in blue. Then we introduce a white thread and begin to knit with the front stitch, alternating white and blue colors. In each front row, we cut the loops until there are 3-4 loops left, which can simply be pulled off.

Making a pom-pom:

After that, we knit paws. Taking the scheme as a basis, we knit 1 row (for small circles) and 2 (for large circles).

We sew the whole decor:

This sweater has been knitted many, many times. Finally, the time has come for me to knit it for my daughter. I'm waiting for like-minded people

Here is the original description:

The scheme of the bear is larger:

Here they did the translation and knitted it on Osinka: http://club.osinka.ru/topic-55155

I decided to deviate from the description and knit with a solid raglan on top. I will make the clasp as in the description on the back, and the buttoned plank on the raglan line is an imitation. This is my first time knitting with raglan, so I stocked up on useful links that helped me get started:

Raglan options:
Raglan knitting step by step:
Online raglan knitting:
Raglan line length in the table:

Elastic band closure:

I will knit at the age of 1.5 years
knitting needles number 3
threads: Vita BABY 100% acrylic, 100g 400m.
I will knit a bear from white Nazar Krokha 100% micropolyester, 50g 75m.
My actual yarn consumption: Vita BABY 1.5 skeins; Nazar The baby is quite a bit, less than a quarter of the skein.

Here is what I already get, I knit in 2 threads:

After about 11 cm, I transferred the halves of the back to one knitting needle and then I knit in a circle:

I knit for the age of 1.5 years, so the raglan line should be 14cm. After that, I removed the loops of the sleeves on contrasting threads (the raglan loops are removed along with the sleeves) and left the back and front loops on the knitting needles. Since it is problematic to knit a pattern only in front in a circle, then I continue the back and front separately. Bear ears have already appeared, and the back remains untouched on the knitting needle.
Now I use 1 white skein and 2 blue skeins so there are fewer broaches:

Well, the muzzle appeared! I decided to decorate the eyes and nose with black thread. From the protruding tails, it can be seen that the number of glomeruli I have increased by this moment:

When the muzzle and paws were completely knitted, I put aside the knitting of the front and returned to the back. Knitting the back, I decided to immediately connect it with the front part, because I don’t know how to sew evenly, and my seams turn out to be rough. Therefore, I knitted the last stitch of each row of the back with one of the edge stitches of the front. It turned out to be a very neat seamless connection. On the right in the photo are the loops of the sleeves, taken on a white thread, and on the left, the connection has not yet been completed:

I knitted the back to the desired length, now I knit with a 3x3 elastic band again in a circle:

The bottom is tied. The length from the end of the muzzle to the edge is 12 cm. Closed elastically:

After much research, I started knitting the right sleeve. My mistake is clearly visible: the raglan line had to be divided between the sleeve and the body. Because of this, a hole in the armpit turned out, which will then have to be corrected. I make decreases so far in every seventh row:

After 5 decreases, I knitted 6 more rows without reduction and began 13 rows of 1x1 gum. Closed with elastic. Right sleeve finished:

I knit the second sleeve in the same way. The body with sleeves is ready, I turn to finishing and knitting the collar:

I typed neck loops on the knitting needles and knitted with an elastic band 1x1 8.5 cm. Closed with elastic. This is how the gate turned out:

I decided to sew buttons on the back: 10pcs, their size is d 9mm:

In front, I changed my mind about making a decorative placket with buttons on the raglan line. But she sewed flower bows on the bear - this is a sweater for a girl

How to knit with your own hands

For work, we need cotton threads of 2 colors, knitting needles, scissors, thread, needle, hook, ruler, centimeter, buttons and a bear.

We measure the girth of the neck of our toy. We measure with a ribbon - it's more convenient.

We calculate how many loops it is. For example, the neck is 7.2 cm, and there are 3.3 loops in 1 cm. We consider: 7.2 cm x 3.3 loops = 23.76 loops. Round to 24 stitches.

And now the hardest part!!! 24 pet. - 6 pet. (2 edging and 4 loops for raglan) = 18 loops. 18 pet. : 3= 6 sts. The first six loops on the back. We divide the second in half 3 + 3 - these are our sleeves. The third ones are also in half 3 + 3 - these are shelves. Scheme below.

Cast on 24 stitches and purl the first row. In the next row: I remove the hem, 3 l., 1 yarn, 1 l., 1 yarn, 3 l., 1 yarn, 1 l., 1 yarn, 6 l., 1 yarn, 1 l., 1 yarn, 3 l. , 1 yarn, 1 l., 1 yarn, 3 l, close the row. On the wrong side, I knit everything with purl loops. Next, in each front row, I make yarn overs on both sides of the “raglan” loop.

I knit until the moment when it will be possible to connect the sleeve under the arm. Next, I knit a shelf and a sleeve without making crochets. I turn the work and knit in the opposite direction.

Friends, hello everyone!

Today I want to show you a sweater that I knitted for my grandson. This model is from a French magazine Phildar, which is a trendsetter in knitted fashion for children in Europe: his models are adopted by children's magazines in Spain, Italy, Germany and Russia. The model is not new, but very cute and interesting.
For knitting, I used, as usual, Italian bobbin yarn, so I had to do all the calculations myself. Here's what happened.
Yarn Camelsoft Light beige with shades. Merino wool extra fine 50%, camel 50%. 100 meters/650 grams. Lana Goldd white for finishing in one thread Knitting needles No. 3 for elastic bands and No. 3.5 for the main fabric, knitted in 2 threads .. Consumption 100 gr. main yarn and 10 gr. for finishing. Knitted for size 80-86. I made a short description, maybe it will be useful to someone.

Back. Cast on 71 sts with edging. Gum 3 persons 3 out. 35 rows. Next, knitting needles 3.5 stocking knitting 30 rows. Then the formation of raglan. In each front row, decrease 21 times, one loop. Put the remaining 29 loops on an additional knitting needle.
Before knit, like the back, knitting a bear according to the scheme. I embroidered the eyes, nose and ears on the finished canvas, and knitted the main part with intarsia. To form a deeper neckline, remove the middle 9 loops on an additional knitting needle and finish both halves separately To round the neck, close in every second row 2 times 2 loops and 2 times 1 loop. Slip remaining stitches onto extra needles. This is the pattern by which I knitted a bear. Thanks to the girls from the aspen for her.

Sleeves. Cast on 38 stitches. Needles number 3. Elastic band 3 persons. 3 out. 14 rows. Next, knitting needles No. 3.5 stocking knitting. For bevels, add on both sides in each 6 row 9 times, one loop on each side. It turned out 56 loops. After 14 cm (I have 55 rows), start reducing the raglan both on the back and front. Subtract 21 times. 1 loop on each side. There are 14 loops left. Remove on an additional knitting needle.
Assembly. Sew the details of the front, back, sleeves. On knitting needles No. 3, reshoot the neck loops, tie the neckline 5-7 rows in garter stitch.
Paws Knitted on circular needles No. 3. Cast on 16 stitches. Knit 4 rows in a circle, then decrease, as on the toe of the sock. Sew on paws.

There will be questions, write, I will answer with pleasure.
