The professionalism of the stylist allows you to hide the flaws and emphasize the merits. But how to choose a good wedding makeup artist in Moscow, where there are so many different offers? How to determine the level of professionalism of a makeup artist for a wedding, how not to make a mistake with the choice on such an important day? The basic rules of competent makeup for a wedding:

  • use only high-quality and proven cosmetics. It would also be nice to have a pre-wedding rehearsal: apply makeup and take a picture to really appreciate appearance;
  • be sure to apply a tonal foundation on your face, and then, in order to avoid the appearance of a greasy sheen, lightly powder your face throughout the day;
  • if you make the eyes as expressive as possible, the lips should remain discreet. Lipstick of natural shades perfectly copes with this;
  • When doing makeup for a wedding, use only waterproof mascara.

A professional make-up artist will make you simply irresistible, and every time you look at your wedding photos, you will again and again return to your fairy tale.

But still, it is you who should control the main points in creating your wedding image.

Seliya Kuchumova, make-up artist, TOP-stylist: "Keeping the individuality of each girl is the most important thing"

I have been working in the wedding industry for 8 years, my journey began in 2010. Since childhood, I always wanted to dress everyone up, comb their hair, it seemed that all girls and women should always be beautiful. “When your hands itch” is my story. I studied at the philological faculty, and in our group there were only girls and only one Chinese boy, who taught Russian with us. We lived together in a hostel, and of course, for all sorts of parties, outings and dates, I proactively and persistently offered my services. Then I didn’t have so many brushes and luxury cosmetics, and everything that could be found was used: there was a desire, and no obstacles prevented me from creating beauty around me. I enjoyed my work, and most importantly, I liked that I help girls change their image and positively influence their lives.

Wedding fashion, of course, is subject to trends. For example, about two years ago it was fashionable to do high hairstyles with false hair, Greek braids, huge bunches almost larger than the bride herself. Now it's all gone, and natural images are in fashion. I really like this trend: it has a slight touch of fashion, but still it is more about youth and purity, a lot of radiance, no overloaded makeup, tons of arrows and eyelashes, everything is very restrained, graceful and intelligent. This is, of course, closer to me in spirit. The best thing is when the image does not scream "I spent three hours doing makeup to surprise you all." Preserving the individuality of each girl is the most important thing, and it's good that the trends are exactly like that now.

Are you inspired by any of your colleagues or famous makeup artists? Whose work do you like?

If we talk about our colleagues from Russia, then I really like Olya Tomina, the way she works with textures. My love for hair is Tonya Pushkareva, she opened the world of light careless hairstyles to me, I adore her work and always get inspired by her. I really like the fashion work of Lena Yasenkova, I like Lena Krygina and her business approach to her industry and to her team. I love a lot of foreign makeup artists, but I think that masters from Russia are the best in any niche. All our girls are great fellows.

If they come to me for advice, I try to make the image have its own gloss, chic, but at the same time be girlishly gentle, I really like it when the bride looks like that. And so girls are different, and I always find an approach to each, to her picture of the world, her usual life, and I understand what she wants, I speak her language. Our whole team is for every bride to feel the most beautiful, and everyone has their own beauty.

Do you have a taboo in wedding makeup?

Yes, of course. I believe that red lips are not makeup for the bride for the solemn part. For a wedding party, yes, but they must match the concept. Please, dear brides, I want you to hear me through this article: it looks terrible, just a red spot. The bride is a classic image, trends and tendencies change a little here, but in general, light makeup in pastel colors will never go away. The most important thing is that the girl looks like a girl, and not like an adult lady who already has a fifth marriage behind her. There must be some purity, innocence. In my makeup, I always use warm shades: peach, pink, I don’t make a strong correction - only a light shade on the cheekbones and a blush. Therefore, for me, the taboo is inappropriate color spots in makeup.

Last November, I went on vacation and took only my makeup bag on duty because I didn’t plan to work. But one bride, seeing that I was in Thailand, wrote to me in direct and asked me to collect her for the wedding. I did my hair from improvised means: a sponge that turned into a roller for a bun, some invisible ones found in a Thai store. The makeup also turned out really cool, although I had BB cream and one brush with me. But when you're a good professional, it's just easier for you to work with good cosmetics and brushes. And of course, quality materials look completely different. But this case with the bride proved that I can get out of any situation. If suddenly a suitcase with cosmetics is stolen from me, I will still find a way out and a way to collect the girl so that this does not affect the quality at all.

For some reason, a lot of stylists have appeared now who have completed some courses, bought some cosmetics and immediately claim top positions. I am very sorry that many people devalue this profession, treat it lightly. It is impossible, for example, to come to the morning of the bride in ripped jeans and an old T-shirt, it's just disrespect for yourself, for your work and for this client. It doesn't matter if the bride is going to a hotel or a one-room apartment outside the Moscow Ring Road, you have no right to come with a dirty head. Everything has its place. Stylists who begin to study must understand, firstly, that they love and know how to loyally accept people, avoid sharp corners, be able to get out of conflict, find a way out. Secondly, they understand that they have a talent, a taste, the ability to see the perfect picture in their head. Thirdly, you must understand that this is serious, and fully devote your time to the profession, not trying to combine it with another job. You can't sit on two chairs here. And of course, please invest in knowledge and go to good courses and master classes. Yes, it's expensive. I often fly to other countries, and it costs me a lot, but I get the skills that give me growth, and it pays off.

Five years ago I had a very interesting bride who had an Indian-style wedding. Instead of a dress, there was a very beautiful red sari, and the groom was in a silk traditional suit and a turban. All guests and parents supported the dress code - it was so beautiful, colorful and interesting! And although from a distance it looked like a party of Hare Krishnas with champagne, I got great pleasure from this work. Thank you, Lenochka, you were my only bright and unique bride. And I also had my very first bride, in a khaki dress and grinders. Her fiancé was military uniform, and she decided to support him in this way. She also had strong astigmatism, and I, then an inexperienced stylist, was briefly confused and did not know what to do. As a result, we made her a very cool sloppy braid-spikelet and such makeup that astigmatism was not visible at all. I was able to balance this aggressive brutal story and pull it into an interesting image.

Yulia Rudakova, head of the wedding agency. We work with Celia quite often, probably a third of all our brides. Girls choose her because she works in absolutely different styles but always does its job with perfect quality. Celia is also very open and involved, she accompanies the brides throughout the day and is always attentive to the process, correcting the image of not only the bride, but also the mother.

Olga Milton, stylist, founder: "The main focus is on individual work"

How long have you been in the wedding industry? How did you get started as a stylist?

My path, however paradoxical it sounds, began with the financial sector. Only the fact that initially I did not find myself in my environment prompted me to turn my life in the right direction, finding the profession of my dreams.

I entered the wedding industry at the very beginning, one might say, I stood at the origins. It was 2009, a turning point in Russian wedding style. The first notes of the American-European culture began to be traced, a tradition that has always been very close to me. Wedding agencies appeared, contractors were formed, each responsible for his own business. It was in this holistic team approach that the first concepts and stories began to emerge. I am proud that in just 10 years, from nothing, all of us, industry workers, took it and raised it from scratch, forming a quality offer. At least now there is a choice for every taste, and before it was not.

With my own eyes I observe the organization in other countries, and the way they work and create in Russia is top notch. We have the most talented, responsible and cool guys. This is not bravado and exaggeration, this is a fact confirmed by experience. One of the reasons why they invite me abroad is that they simply cannot be found there. a good specialist for reasonable money.

Wedding fashion is considered the most conservative. Is she trendy? What has changed in recent years in the images and wishes of brides?

Wedding stylistics is developing along with other areas. Very close to fashion: when I track fashion weeks, look at designer collections, I see this influence all the time. Here, a model with a low textural and careless tail walked along the catwalk at the show - not even a month passes, as the trend is picked up by a wave in wedding looks. Here is a movie released or launched new season series that is mainstream and what are we seeing? Immediate impact. A few years ago, after the release of Viking, I added medieval notes to my hairstyles in the form of intricate braids and braids. Here it is, the indirect influence of external factors. An integral part of the work of a stylist is to feel the currents, catch all the trends, but at the same time remain yourself and not lose your signature style. This is the most important thing, in my opinion.

There is a high general level of stylists in Russia. I can’t single out specific names, but I am extremely pleased to open the Internet and see what I see now with others. We are what we create. In the works of other stylists, first of all, the personality of the specialist is deciphered. Everyone is very different, with their own taste and vision, which is why it is more interesting. Several times I was at one-time master classes and understood that the group was discussing someone, naming some names, but I don’t know anyone. I just don't have time to look around, and that's probably why my images are more original.

What advice would you give to a bride who doesn't know what look to wear for her wedding?

In my work, the ability to offer, charge, lead, morally enrich, give a piece of yourself is important. Even before the first real meeting, I am aware of the affairs of the bride, in constant dialogue and always there. Usually we exchange news, pictures for inspiration and already outline an approximate vector of what we like. The best result has always been obtained with this approach. Ideas are born one after another, and we can't be stopped in rehearsal. I can’t even remember the cases when the bride came to me and did not know what she wanted. There is simply no such thing, since everyone knows in advance what to expect after viewing the work.

You have your own recognizable style of work: the images you create for your brides are light and natural. Did you immediately come to it or is it the result of long experiments?

Let me share a story about learning. I completed a classic academic course in Wedding Styling at one of the oldest Moscow hairdressing schools, and after each class I left with mixed feelings. I clearly saw that the model girls who came to the image left the institution in a less pretty look than they came at the very beginning. It should be noted that this was the first and last training in my life.

Probably, thanks to my character and perseverance, I was not disappointed in the profession, but only got excited. After all, how is it? Hair and make-up are done perfectly, so technically that you can’t find fault, but why don’t I like it myself? Here it is, the ideal elongated shape with a gradient, the smoothest arrow ... and I look at the girl, and I want only one thing: wash her, apply just one shadow, make her skin radiant, light blush ... sort out her hair, pull out the falling strands from the right places - and already completely another thing! Exactly from that moment I realized that I would go only from my own.

To this day, I try on each created image for myself and run it through my own filter - this is my approach. My concept. I always strive to emphasize the natural beauty of the girl, so that everything looks as if the person did it himself, but still the hand of a professional was visible and the details and form were read. It is important that the created hairstyle or makeup are not the main accents. So that the bride does not hear words about what she has pretty haircut about how beautiful she is.

How long before the wedding date should a bride start choosing a makeup artist? Where and how best to look, so as not to make a mistake in choosing?

It all depends on the date of the wedding, and here you can not get around this fact. If we are talking about the high summer season, then the sooner the better. It is important not to miss that range of time so that in the end you do not have to make a choice from what is left, and not from what is close and pleasant. This applies to the selection of all contractors in general. The farthest period when they contacted me was 11 months before the wedding. On average, this is 2-3 months in advance. If the request is in the season for the month, then, as a rule, all possible dates are already taken.

Where to look? In the early years, I just posted information on thematic wedding sites. They found me there, looked at my site, work on it. Now, mostly brides come on the recommendation and from wedding agencies, which, in general, can also be considered “on the recommendation”. It seems to me that you need to pay attention to three factors: do you like the stylist's images? Is everything clear on the site or in the description of the work, is there any “water”? And the last thing is how quickly and clearly, as well as kindly, the stylist responds to the request and conducts correspondence.

There is a famous phrase: "A real master can play a symphony even on a stool, but playing on a stool, you will never become a master." Do you agree with this? How important are expensive and high-quality materials in your work?

Yes and no. The contents of my work case melt away over the years. I look at my work and understand that all hairstyles are created using a single comb for 40 rubles, and 6 years ago I had a whole pencil case of different colors and diameters of the same combs. Through testing, research and active work I built myself a good foundation of tools, removing everything unnecessary.

But the downside is the specificity of the beauty world. You can't stop here. I am still experimenting, extracting and trying cosmetics all over the world, looking for more and more. New acquisitions are a colossal aesthetic pleasure, a fresh sip, after which you want to run to work, most likely to put everything into practice. So stop - never, you need to study new products!

Tell us about the most unusual or memorable bridal look you've worked with?

I always remember girls who do not speak Russian. It's just a different culture and traditions, a different understanding of how a bride should look. I once worked at a Chinese wedding. There is a traditional make-up in a rich white-pink tone, this is not my style at all, but now I can do that. Coincidentally, I was working with a Korean bride that same month and was already savvy. Another case was when I held a two-day master class in the Emirates for local stylists. The first day I worked in my own style: concise images, naturalness, airy hairstyles. Probably, the stylists did not understand this, and the organizer asked on the second day to increase the intensity of cosmetics and expressiveness. Black eyes, lush hair. I had to change the program on the go and then there was a sensation! Everyone was satisfied. The East is a completely different world with its own vision. In the evening of the same day, I was invited to work on the image of a television presenter: she is British, and she just liked my usual style. Of course, such cases are a break in the pattern for me and a shake-up, this is stored in my memory.

Artem Korostelev, head of the wedding agency. We work with Olya quite often, 3-4 times per season on average. In our opinion, she best of all creates delicate images, make-up, close to natural. Olya is a high-level professional: all brides are always satisfied with her work, and she will easily find an approach to the most demanding client. In particular, Olya has many qualities that are important for the organizer: clarity and structure in work, timing and maximum customer focus.

Irina Mitroshkina, stylist, founder of a network of salons: “To understand and love people is the main thing that should be in a make-up artist”

How long have you been in the wedding industry? How did you get started as a stylist?

I started to color brides and make money on it even when I was in school! Despite my young age, older friends, sister, aunts addressed me, and there were many brides among them. It can be said that I started from the school bench.

Wedding fashion is considered the most conservative. Is she trendy?

Of course, wedding trends are almost as fashionable as all other fashion trends.

What has changed in recent years in the images and wishes of brides?

Brides have now become outrageous. The image of a classic bride has become so rare that even it is perceived as a kind of outrageous. Everyone wants to excel, to be unusual.

What colleagues' work do you like?

I have a lot of talented colleagues, I can’t single out the work of one person, so as not to offend.

How did your salon appear and develop? What kind of people do you take on your team?

My Prive7 beauty salon appeared 8 years ago. I worked at the MAC corner as a make-up artist, and I had a lot of clients there, and then I started taking my clients at home. After that, we opened the first salon, then the second, and after, together with my partner Susanna, the most successful, large Prive7 beauty salon, which was transformed into a network of beauty salons. I take exceptionally talented, ambitious masters who do not want to stay at the same stage and want to grow with the team.

I don't like having too many things all at once. When there is a lot of makeup, a lot of jewelry, a heavy dress, artificial hair - roughly speaking, when the image is overloaded with details.

Is a hair and makeup rehearsal required for a bride? What about the service of escorting a stylist during the wedding?

Of course, this is desirable. Although I have a lot of brides who called me immediately to the wedding. But it’s better to try everything on, look at everything, make sure that the idea is right in order to be calm.

There is a famous phrase: "A real master can play a symphony even on a stool, but playing on a stool, you will never become a master." Do you agree with this? How important are expensive and high-quality materials in your work?

I believe that a chic make-up can be done with any cosmetics. As they say: "The main thing is that the hands grow from that place."

Where should a person who decides to become a wedding stylist start?

Learn from the best and work hard. To practice. Understand and love people. This is the main thing that should be in a makeup artist.

Tell us about the most unusual or memorable bridal look you've worked with?

This bride was Lolita. The wedding took place at the Dolby Theater - the venue for the Oscars. Everything was decorated with millions of fresh roses, and Lady Gaga sang for the guests ... probably this is already enough to highlight this wedding and the bride as the most memorable.

Anna Gorodzhaya, head of the wedding agency. Star brides choose Irina Mitroshkina because this is a name, this is a brand, and also a guarantee of a great mood in the morning, because she is a really competent psychologist who relieves stress and improves mood. I myself have been a client of Prive7 and Irina Mitroshkina for many years and recommend only the best for my brides. Her style is a classic, a good, correct classic that emphasizes the dignity of appearance and hides what the bride herself does not like. I would recommend that you always come to make-up rehearsals, because Ira selects what is most suitable for them on the day of the event.

Elena Kandalova, wedding stylist, founder of the studio: "The main task of the stylist is to emphasize the natural beauty of the bride, and not redraw her face"

How long have you been in the wedding industry?

My path in the world of beauty began back in 2007. The moment of exiting the decree was approaching, but the company could not withstand the pressure of the financial crisis: mass layoffs began, and then even liquidation. Prior to that, I held the position of Marketing Director. I did not want to lower the bar and become an ordinary specialist. And I thought: oh, this is fate! You need to use this chance to radically change your life, test yourself in a new field, turn your hobby into a profession! I have long been fond of cosmetics and stockpiled mountains of novelties in the beauty industry. Besides, I really liked to draw. So I decided to become a makeup artist.

I didn’t want to go to the media and work with celebrities - a lot of pathos is not for me, in the cinema it’s interesting, but a small child and working on a schedule could not make friends. But brides and wedding preparations have always been associated with positive emotions, euphoria and heady anticipation of the most cherished moment in the life of every woman. The choice became obvious. I wanted to help ordinary women become a little more beautiful, more confident and happier. After all, the morning of every bride begins precisely with working with a stylist, and her mood and self-awareness for the whole day depend on this ritual!

Wedding fashion is considered the most conservative. Is she trendy? What has changed in recent years in the images and wishes of brides?

Fashion is dynamic: changing trends in wedding dresses entail changes in the images of brides. About 10 years ago we made boucle curls, smooth buns and buns of curls - then it was the pinnacle of style. Then Greek braids became popular. If you look at the structure, the shape of the hairstyles has remained the same, but the technique and content have changed. Today, large curls and airy buns are in fashion, and Greek braids have also become more voluminous and slightly careless.

I can single out two main trends. First, natural, slightly careless hairstyles are relevant today, as if the bride got up, combed her hair herself and went down the aisle. This is dictated by the trends of the fashion industry. The market offers new textures, light Wedding Dresses without a corset, flying skirts and lace, which emphasize the tenderness and quivering of the moment. The second trend is more graphic - these are almost architectural hairstyles, buns, Greek braids and tails, made of strands with a brightly highlighted rib texture. You may notice that these are common wedding trends. They are also observed in wedding decor - this is modern fashion.

In make-up, brides prefer an emphasis on an expressive look and, of course, pay attention to durability. The foundation must withstand tears of joy, and lipstick should remain on the lips even after hundreds of kisses with loved ones. But in general, the choice of a wedding look is influenced by the usual brightness. everyday makeup: nude, classic or bright, almost oriental version - depends on the character and temperament of the bride.

Do I need to choose makeup and hairstyle for the dress, or is it worth thinking over the whole image from the very beginning?

Makeup and hair should suit the person first of all - the bride - and then be in tune with the outfit and take into account the style of the event itself. But we strive for harmony and believe that every detail is important. Therefore, we carefully think over the image, taking into account all the nuances.

Tell us about your studio. How did it come about, how did you choose the name?

In the past decade, the market for bridal stylists has exploded. Word of mouth did not allow to regulate the flow of customers, and sometimes there were so many orders that there was a catastrophic lack of time to satisfy the demand. Many of my colleagues have also experienced this. We helped each other, recommended, replaced in case of force majeure. We were friends and worked chaotically, until a lot of studios appeared on the market, and the competition became tougher. We were faced with the question of how to effectively promote: one “dress” was not enough, aggressive marketing came to the beauty industry.

At that moment, the Moskvichka studio appeared - an association of talented masters of their craft. And since most of our clients were residents of Moscow and the Moscow region, the name turned out to be very logical. And caramel in chocolate from the Babaevsky plant, which bears a consonant name, has become our signature treat for customers!

What kind of people are you looking for in your team?

At first, only my familiar stylists worked in the studio. I was sure of their work: for many years we worked at shows, weddings and other events, replacing each other if necessary. In addition, we all came from the same school - Alla Strizh was our teacher. By the way, she also works in our studio and continues to teach, now to our students!

Now we only take to the team those who have completed our wedding stylist training course and passed the qualifying exam. The student must independently complete several wedding looks that will meet the quality standard in our studio. When transferring a client to a stylist, we want to be sure of his professionalism and high level work. Because our customer relationships tend to be long-term. We remain friends even after the wedding: we help to get ready for holidays, family celebrations, photo shoots and even teach everyday makeup.

Enthusiastic people work for us, fans of their profession, who have left economics, accounting, jurisprudence, banking in the past and decided that they cannot live without beauty! All stylists constantly improve their skills, undergo makeup and hairstyle training from colleagues, work at fashion shows and various shootings.

Are there any trends wedding hairstyles or makeup that you don't like? What do you consider obsolete?

It's time to leave behind curls that look like Rolton noodles, as the clients themselves call them. Glued, uncombed, without volume and air, strands, as well as hairstyles assembled on their basis. Taboos also include "competitive" hairstyles, made technically difficult with almost plasticized strands, huge, like a house on the head.

Modern trends are airiness and lightness, naturalness not only in hair, but also in makeup. We do not work with oriental, overly bright images. The main task is to emphasize the natural beauty of the bride, and not to redraw her face. This is the general line of the studio, according to which all our stylists work. We love light watercolor make-up, with nuanced splashes of color, translucent textures, pigments - in general, everything that makes the bride's face fresh, radiant and emphasizes the beauty of her eyes!

There is a famous phrase: "A real master can play a symphony even on a stool, but playing on a stool, you will never become a master." Do you agree with this? How important are expensive and high-quality materials in your work?

During the years of practice, different things happened. I had to do makeup even with cotton swabs, fingers and one brush on cosmetics that the client had in stock! This is a force majeure of the customer, but we can get out of any situation.

Of course, it is important what tools and what cosmetics the stylist works with. Therefore, in our suitcase there are always luxury brands along with professional brands of cosmetics. New items are constantly coming out, which we try to buy and test, and if the product is worthwhile, we add it to our case! New makeup trends call for new textures and products. After all, we keep up with the times!

What advice would you give to a bridal stylist just starting out?

More practice! Each hairstyle after training needs to be worked out well before offering it to the client. Practice at home on a blank, hone your technique to the ideal. Then pamper your girlfriends - they are pleased, it is useful for you. Be sure to work with models and take quality photos for your portfolio. Only after that you can offer the service to customers!

The same with makeup: if there are no test subjects, draw every day on yourself. Girlfriends and aspiring models will come to the rescue again. And constantly learn - fashion changes, new hairstyles, makeup techniques, innovative products appear. Follow the market, develop and never stop there!

Tell us about the most unusual or memorable bridal look you've worked with?

Typically, brides are remembered for their stories, not their looks. One bride met a guy through social networks when she was still at school, then she came to Moscow to study at the institute. He proposed to her hot-air balloon when they took to the air, and the wedding was outside the city in a tent. A very beautiful and sweet girl. The image also turned out to be very beautiful: on her long hair We have done Greek braid on one side - she had a dress in Greek style. Then, based on her photo, hundreds of clients came to me, and until now, girls send her photos and ask to tell me how to make such a hairstyle for graduation.

Natalya Petrova, wedding photographer. I have been working with Lena for 9 or 10 years. She is the first person I recommend to brides, and at my wedding she was the one who made me beautiful. Every girl wants to be beautiful, especially at a wedding, and to see it not only in photographs, but also to feel it throughout the day. When I work with Lena, I see happiness on the bride's face when she looks at her reflection in the mirror. We have worked for the most different weddings, but the images of Lena have always been very individual and harmonious, not to mention the fact that they last until the end of the evening.

Nadezhda Borisova, bridal stylist, founder of MakeupTrend studio: “Brides want feminine and light looks”

How long have you been in the wedding industry? How did you get started as a stylist?

I have been working in the wedding industry since 2011, almost 7 and a half years. My journey began with the fact that since the age of 15 I have been collecting cosmetics, painting my friends, combing everyone around. I am a fashion designer by education, and at the institute, when I defended my graduation project, I also dyed, combed, created a complete image, also with a dress in the kit. I didn’t study this anywhere, I just studied the composition of the costume, the history of the costume, both hairstyles and makeup clearly appeared there, that is, I immediately wanted to see the whole image.

Wedding fashion is considered the most conservative. Is she trendy? What has changed in recent years in the images and wishes of brides?

I think she's very trendy, and it shows in the seven years that I've been working. I, among other things, managed to influence trends very strongly: I am engaged in training, and what clients show and offer is later what clients want. Brides began to ask for more lightness, airiness, towers on their heads are a thing of the past, and girls want more feminine and light images. Hairstyles in European style, make-up that emphasize the individuality and beauty of each, and not the only "corner". Now light smokes are popular, a lot of radiance on the skin - the more glow the bride has in her makeup, the better.

Are you inspired by any of your colleagues or famous makeup artists?

I like the work of my colleague from Ukraine Vicki Lee. I even brought her to Russia twice with master classes. I can’t say that I follow my colleagues in Russia: I respect their work, but I just don’t have time to look at them, to be honest.

What kind of people do you take on your team?

Positive, talented, easy people who are on the same wavelength with me. Those who take all my courses (it's about 2 months) and then train with me. My philosophy is that everything is possible, that in the first place respect for the face and hair of clients. If I see a person from the very beginning that his eyes are burning and have similar views, then I am ready to consider him in my team.

Are there any makeup or hairstyles that you don't like? Will you try to dissuade the bride from them?

As a rule, these are colored and very contrasting makeups for brides. I work in a slightly different way, more gentle, classic and natural, with shading into the skin so that there is no effect of a very bright “drawing” on the face - makeup is separate from the person. The main thing is to emphasize the dignity of appearance and facial features. Therefore, I really discourage very bright and dark makeup for the wedding, and I always discourage brides from what does not suit them, precisely in individual moments.

There is a famous phrase: "A real master can play a symphony even on a stool, but playing on a stool, you will never become a master." Do you agree with this? How important are expensive and high-quality materials in your work?

Of course, they are very important. Firstly, I am a pure esthete, a connoisseur of beauty and a perfectionist. If we talk about cosmetics, I love expensive and high-quality materials and beautiful packaging - you can’t get away from this. The client also perceives this as an aesthetic pleasure. This definitely affects the result: more care components, a high-quality composition that is more beneficial for skin and hair. All my hair styling products are ecological, I use only eco-materials in my work. Of course, you can work out with cheap materials, and a real master will also be fine, but the very effect of aesthetic pleasure, “magic” for the client is brought only by expensive good materials and tools.
