Quilling tulips March 8 postcards. Application "Tulips" in quilling technique

Spring is a wonderful time of the year, but the first tulips don't appear on March 1st. And how you want the sun to warm, and bright flowers appear on the flower beds. I propose to make unusual tulips using the quilling technique. They will delight you not only at the beginning of spring, but throughout the year.

Materials:

Quilling strips (5 mm and 3 mm),

quilling tool,

PVA glue,

wire 2mm,

a tablespoon and a film.

Progress:

Choosing a color for the future tulip. You can take ready-made strips, or you can cut yourself.

Our tulip will consist of three petals. Each petal requires 12 strips. Twist them as follows.

Wrap a tablespoon with a film so as not to spoil it and so that the petal can be easily removed. Put the finished parts on a spoon, glue so that you get the volume.

Repeat with the rest of the details. You should get three petals.

While the petals are drying, you can work on the leaves. Prepare several green strips, glue them together.

Holding one edge with your hand, wind the spiral in the form of a sheet, gluing at the base.

For stamens, you will need 6 black strips of 3 mm. It is not necessary to twist them completely, leaving 25-30 mm.

Prepare a wire 250 mm long for the stem, twist the upper edge.

Wrap the stem with green stripes, make the top a little thicker to look like a pestle. Twist an asterisk from a separate green strip and glue it on top.

Collecting a flower. We glue three petals together. Glue the stamens near the pistil.

When everything dries well, glue the flower head and leaves to the stem.

Make several tulips of different colors, and the bouquet will delight you for more than one day.

Success in creative work!

2 Updating knowledge and determining the topic of the lesson.

Today we have a new topic for the Quilling lesson. What is it? (Slide #1)

Quilling (quilling - from the English word quill (bird feather)) is the art of making flat or voluminous compositions from long and narrow strips of paper twisted into spirals, glued together. This type of needlework appeared in Europe in the 14th-15th century. Needlewomen took a bird's feather and wound thin multi-colored strips of paper on it.

The basic form of quilling is a spiral of paper strips. Finished forms were glued to the base or glued together, forming the shapes of flowers, leaves and various lace ornaments.

Quilling decorations were used everywhere: on wardrobes, purses, ladies' accessories, paintings and frames, baskets, coats of arms. Quilling was also very actively used in decorating furniture. Quilling was also used in combination with embroidery, painting and other types of art. (slide No. 2-5)

This type of decoration has come down to our times. We will learn to perform work in the quilling technique.

Any holiday is not complete without gifts, especially the one that is made by hand is especially expensive. This panel is made using the quilling technique (showing a postcard by the teacher). What flowers do I have in the picture? (tulips)

What do you know about this flower? (slide show 6-9)

The tulip is considered a symbol of our Kalmyk steppe. The Kalmyks call it "bamb tsetsg" (shield). Have any of you seen tulips bloom? This is a beautiful field that you can admire endlessly. We know that it is forbidden to tear them, they are listed in the Red Book. Tulips are the pride and beauty of the Kalmyk steppe, this is our wealth, it must be protected. We should only admire the beauty that nature has given us.

With its wondrous beauty

What smells and colors!

These only happen in fairy tales.

Lay them closed with sharp ends away from you.

Pass the scissors to each other rings forward.

Don't leave scissors open

5. Showing the methods of doing work by the teacher. (Slide No. 10)

Let's start by making tulip buds

For work, strips of five millimeters wide, 60 cm long are used. Cut them out and start twisting a tight roll, glue the edge of the strip so that the bud does not bloom, then remove it and unfold it by about 1 centimeter.

Then, pulling the center to one edge, from the other edge we squeeze it with a finger or a toothpick and pinch it. In this way, we make three buds of different colors. (Slide No. 11))

6. Performance of work by children, individual work of the teacher with individual children in the performance of buds.

7. Demonstration of techniques for performing the stem by the teacher.

We take a strip 5 mm wide, 20 cm long. We cut the strip into two parts, fold it in half and glue it together, not reaching the edge of about 1 centimeter. We cut out the non-glued part with a fence and open it. (slide 12)

8. Performance of work by children, individual work of the teacher with individual children.

9. Demonstration of techniques for performing leaves by the teacher.

For work, we need our index finger, on which we will wind loops with a ladder.

So, we fold the loop, clamp it from below and glue it.

Next, we continue to wind loops with a ladder. The distance is determined by eye.

The upper part is not pinched, it must remain rounded.

When the strip is over: cut off the excess and glue it. We compress the resulting workpiece, giving it a shape. It is better not to bend the loops, but simply squeeze them easily. It is necessary to bend the very last loop so that the leaves are pointed on top. (slide 13)

Strongly squeeze the bottom of the leaf. We release and drip glue on this place. We smear it so that it gets between the strips. We clamp and wait until the glue dries.

It is important here to glue the strips inside, and not to drip glue on them from above.

10. Performance of work by children, individual work of a teacher with children.

11. Physical Minute

We'll all stand together now

We'll rest on a halt.

Turn left, turn right!

Bend over, get up!

Hands up and hands to the side

And on the spot - jump, yes lope.

And now we're running,

Well done you guys

Slow down, children, step

And stay where you are.

And now we sit together

We still need to work!

12. Assembling the composition. (slide 14)

Let's start assembling our crafts. Take the stems in the resulting "flower bed", plant the buds and glue them on cardboard. To make them voluminous, bend the stem from below, directing the flower in one direction or another.

13. Verification and evaluation of children's work.

An exhibition of works and mutual evaluation are held. The teacher corrects the children's assessments and summarizes.

14. Summing up the lesson.

And so our unusual lesson came to an end. We have done a lot of work today.

What did you learn about yourself in class?

What have you learned?

What did you like the most about the lesson?

What is your mood now?

I hope that you liked our lesson and that the knowledge you have acquired today has enriched you and will help you in solving creative problems not only in quilling classes, but also in life.

15. Cleaning the workplace

Quilling tulips can be an original and tender gift for a spring day. Tulips have always symbolized youth, purity, love, happiness. This flower as a gift is able to tell about feelings and devotion.

A paper flower using the quilling technique can turn out to be no less elegant and eloquent than a living one. At the same time, the tulip itself is quite simple in execution. The flower has large petals, a juicy straight stem, large oval leaves. Drawing a tulip yourself is not difficult even for a child; for this, it is not necessary to use ready-made pictures. It remains only to show imagination and carefully get down to business.

You can make both flat crafts and voluminous figures of tulips as a gift with your own hands.

The master class is dedicated to creating a postcard or a panel depicting two-dimensional tulips and will be useful for both beginners in quilling and experienced craftsmen who can take note of a few ideas.

For starters, it is recommended to apply a sketch to a postcard or a panel - outline the flowers and leaves, especially if you plan to create a complex composition. This will make it easier to understand how to arrange the tulips so that they look harmonious and beautiful on paper.

It is not necessary to collect all quilling tulips in a dense bouquet. For example, you can place flowers at the corners of the paper or in a symmetrical pattern. Not only the shape and patterns of the tulips, but also their arrangement will help to set a certain style for the postcard as a whole. In order to get any postcard with tulips in quilling, you need to prepare:

  • paper ribbons of different colors (white, green, yellow, red, orange, etc.);
  • PVA glue;
  • paper or cardboard base for a postcard or panel;
  • scissors;
  • tools for twisting paper - an awl, tweezers, a round ruler.

Below is an instruction for performing quilling tulips in different versions. Following the instructions and relying on the photo, you can create your own, author's work.

The easiest option: to make flowers according to the basic figure, which is called “tulip”. Lush bouquets with abundant foliage and multi-colored corollas look more effective in this case.

To create a “tulip” quilling figure, it is necessary to twist a tight spiral with an awl or a toothpick, dissolve it to the desired size (you can use a round ruler) and glue the tip, and then use a pen, a special tool or simply push one side to the center with your hands. Should get a wide month.

To give the final shape of the tulip corolla, it is necessary to slightly stretch the blank downwards, pressing it with your fingers from the sides. Make as many such quilling blanks as you like.

As a stem, it is easiest to glue a strip of green paper to the flowers. Make the leaves according to the basic shape of the "eye" or with a comb.

It is not necessary to glue tulips to the postcard in a row. The composition looks more voluminous if you stick the flowers on top of each other.

From other basic shapes, for example, from "droplets", you can create more complex flowers. To do this, you need to separately make the petals and glue them together.

openwork tulips

Openwork tulips require more painstaking work and perseverance. But the result of the work can please the author himself: the flowers are elegant and feminine.

Description of work: make rounded blanks for the petals: wrap a strip of paper around a cylindrical object and glue the tip.

Lightly flatten one side of the resulting circles to give the shape of a petal. Make a basic “S-scroll” shape by twisting a strip of paper on both sides (prepare several of these blanks).

Insert the resulting S-spirals into the blanks of the petals, so that there are no “voids” left.

Make a leaf from a large free spiral, bending it in the form of a wave. Connect the petals together and glue to the base in the right order and add the stripe stems and leaves.

In order for all corollas, buds and leaves to turn out neat and the same, you should use tulip templates. It can be both individual flowers and whole compositions, for example, such:

The contours of the template drawing are transferred to paper, and a paper tape is folded along them, forming a shape. It remains only to fill the resulting forms with basic shapes, for example, “leaves” or “eyes”.

To make the tulips delicate and graceful, they can also be filled with paper ribbons, having previously drawn a pattern for the quilling pattern. It can turn out to be very original artwork.

Bouquet of voluminous tulips

This MK is likely to appeal to beginners, since the execution technique is not difficult. It is enough just to twist tight spirals, give them a shape and connect them correctly. First you need to prepare all the necessary tools and materials:

  • strips for quilling;
  • thick green paper for leaves;
  • wire or twisted paper for the stem;
  • PVA glue;
  • scissors and pencil;
  • awl, tweezers.

How to make a bouquet: twist a tight spiral from long strips and unravel the spiral a little, glue the tip and shape it into an “eye”.

With a finger or tool, slightly press the middle to get a convex shape of the petal. Make several of these. Glue all the petals in stages: first, glue two petals to the stem, and then all the rest (detailed assembly is shown in the photo).

Cut out elongated leaves from green paper and glue them to the stems so that they slightly cover the corollas.

Decorate the work: put the bouquet together, glue the flowers to the cardboard, make a basket, etc.

It is recommended to watch the step-by-step implementation of tulips in quilling on the video.

Today it is fashionable to decorate the interior of an apartment or restaurant with a variety of panels and paintings with floral motifs. Main advantage paper flowers– Affordable cost and original appearance. For needlework, a variety of paper can be used: ink, corrugated, for origami or quilling. In this article, we invite you to find out how to make quilling crafts. Step-by-step photos will help you easily complete products of any complexity. Quilling blanks can be used to make paintings, postcards, or as independent elements for decoration.

Quilling crafts with photos. Flowers

We suggest that you first make the middle of the flower. To do this, take peach or yellow paper and cut it into strips 1 cm wide and 30 cm long. You can also buy ready-made strips at the stationery store. Cut strips 1 cm wide and 10 cm long from green paper. On one side, all the strips need to be cut a little.

Twist the peach stripes, and then the green ones. After that, glue the strips of two colors to make the core look more original.
In advance, we offer to wind a lot of rolls for making flowers. For petals, you can use orange or any other paper, depending on what kind of flowers you want to make. From the rolls, make a “drop” shape, and then glue these three shapes to make a petal. You need to glue only at the bottom, and not completely, otherwise it will not work to make a beautiful flower with combined petals.

To assemble the petals into flowers, you will need a glue gun and pieces of Styrofoam. Gently glue the petals at a comfortable angle.
After that, you can start making leaflets. Cut four strips 3 mm wide and 30 cm long and twist them into tight rolls. Give the rolls the shape of a cone - these will be the sepals. Then make leaflets from green strips of paper. They are assembled from five "eye" quilling shapes. Glue 4 leaves first, and then insert three more between them. You can glue a different number of blanks to get lush leaves.

Collect all the flowers and leaves in a flower arrangement. You can glue flowers on a wire and put them in a vase or make an original panel with your own hands.

Fringed flowers in quilling technique. Photo

Fringed quilling flowers, unlike ordinary ones, have more magnificent forms. They can be used for the original decoration of the hall or a festive event. A few small flowers are easy to fasten on a thread and create a beautiful garland. Such flowers will look creative in a vase with sweets or on the table.

On one side of each strip, you need to cut the fringe, about 2/3 of the strip. Then glue the 5 mm wide strip without fringes to the 10 mm wide strip with fringes. Now you can start rolling the roll. Start with a narrow strip.

Glue the edge of the roll with PVA. After the glue has dried, you can straighten the fringe. You can also glue two fringed strips - narrow and wide, then the flowers will turn out to be a slightly different shape.

Tulips quilling. Master class with photo

Quilling flowers will look elegant on a greeting card. Delicate tulips will please mother or grandmother. To make these flowers you will need quilling paper and a card background.
In order to make tulip leaves, you will need green paper. Cut it into strips or use ready-made. Glue the strips so that one is 65 cm long. Twist the strips into tight rolls and dissolve them to a diameter of 2 cm. After that, make an “eye” shape from each roll.
Make blanks for the tulip bud and give them the appropriate shape. Glue all the details on the postcard. Grass can be made from rolled paper strips or fringed rolls.

Prepare two strips of orange and one yellow. Make a small fringe on them. After that, start rolling into a roll, first the yellow strip, and then the two orange ones. Don't forget to fix with glue.
From green paper you need to make a leaf. To do this, cut out a rectangle and a leaf out of it. Fold the leaf in half and put it on the ruler. Then squeeze on both sides and you will get realistic folds on the leaflet. In this way, make several leaves.
Separately make dandelion buds. To do this, take a strip of paper, make a fringe on it, twist it into a roll and do not straighten it. Then take corrugated paper and wrap the roll so that it forms a pistil and flower stem.

Quilling roses, master class

For a rosebud, you will need quilling blanks, a drop shape.

It is best to prepare the forms in advance, so that you can quickly glue the flower later. The drop shape is made from a roll, which is pressed on one side.

We hope that our article how to make quilling crafts photo, was useful and now you can pick up floral motifs for creating bouquets and other paper crafts. You can make a lot of beautiful products, while with minimal time and money.

Another great gift idea is voluminous flowers in quilling technique- beautiful tulips in a small photo frame. Our bouquet will be to the taste of both a girlfriend, and a mother, and a daughter, and a sister. No one will remain indifferent to such a lovely little souvenir, created with warmth and love.

In our bouquet, tulips are obtained with a size of 1.5 cm and a stem up to 5 cm long. Therefore, the frame will not be large - 10 by 15 cm. It is desirable that the frame be convex, about 2.5 cm deep.

We will need:

  • colored strips of paper 1.5 cm wide for flowers
  • pastel paper for stems
  • twisting tool
  • PVA glue
  • frame

Making a picture with tulips:

1. Glue four and five strips together to get one long one. Rolls of four stripes will be for the inner petals, and rolls of five stripes will be for the outer petals.

If you want the tulip to be variegated, you can immediately twist the two colors together.

2. Unroll the slightly obtained roll so that there are no holes, and give it the shape of a tulip petal: squeeze out the middle of the roll, and you will get a convex tulip petal. Fix the tip and fill the inside with PVA glue.

3. Continue gluing the petals in the same way. For each of the tulips, we need two inner petals and three outer ones.

4. We collect the tulip: glue the two middle petals together, insert the stem inside. For the stem, take pastel paper and glue it in four layers. Glue the outer petals.

5. Make leaves from pastel paper: take strips 5 mm wide and about 4 cm long.

These are such wonderful tulips.

6. Collect the picture.

Volumetric quilling- a very common element of decor today. Increasingly, crafts using this technique are found in souvenir shops. With just a little time, you can create something amazing yourself, like this picture. The result will amaze even you!
