1. Fold the square piece of paper along the dotted lines so that the edges meet in the center.
2. Fold along the dotted lines to make creases and unfold back.

The world of paper plastic is exciting and allows you to create children's crafts that your little ones can do with their own hands. And we will make a whole family of paper mice. They are not afraid to pick up and they do not bite.
To make 4 mice, we need a sheet of white paper on which we need to draw a circle.
We paint over a sheet of paper completely with paints of different colors.
When the paint is dry, cut out the circle with scissors and cut it into 4 equal parts. We fold the remaining paper several times and draw an eye. Cut out the ears of the mice.
We fold the triangles in half - the body of the mouse.
We draw a muzzle and glue the ears.
Cut out the tail from the rest of the paper. Fold the paper in half, cut the tail from the fold line. We glue the 2 halves, but not completely, bend the unglued part outward. Glue the ends to the back of the mouse.
Funny mice.
The second way is how to make mice out of paper.
It takes very little time to make such funny mice. We take colored paper in A4 format and cut it into strips 28-30 cm long and 3 cm wide. 4 such strips are required per mouse. We glue the ends of the two strips perpendicularly and begin to assemble in the snake way (we bend the strips on top of each other). When the first strips run out at their ends, glue the next strips and continue to collect the "snake".
At the end, leave the sticking ends of the strips and glue them together. Draw paws on them and cut them out.
On a sheet of paper we make a template for the head and paws of the mouse. We draw a muzzle and one paw. We cut out the template, transfer the template to colored paper, circle and cut out our blanks.
On a colored blank, draw a muzzle of a mouse: eyes, nose, eyebrows. We make the antennae from the wire, having previously cut it into small pieces. But we make 6 small holes in the muzzle of the mouse with an awl or other sharp object and stretch the wire through them - the antennae. You can also make antennae and bristles cut off from the brush and glue them with a hot glue gun from the inside.
Glue the paws and muzzle to the body.
This paper mouse is not complicated at all. A template is attached to it, although even without it, making such a craft is as easy as shelling pears.
The work uses:
- Double-sided orange cardboard;
- Black paper;
- Moving eyes, but you can make them from white paper by cutting out circles from it and drawing black pupils in the center;
- Compasses, simple pencil, black felt-tip pen, glue stick, scissors.
How to make a paper mouse
On orange cardboard, draw a circle of the desired size and cut it in half. Draw lines for convenience, as shown on the template, or print the template itself.
All these lines will need to be folded. If you drew them, make all the folds. But you can do everything without a template.
First, fold the semicircle in half.
Open and fold the right side, aligning it with the crease in the middle.
Fold the left side as well.
You should get 3 folds: in the center and two at the edges. But you still need to make two folds, the lines of which are shown in the photo.
To do this, fold one of the sides, aligning the edge with the fold on the opposite side. Do this with the other side as well.
You will get 5 folds dividing the semicircle into 6 sectors.
The first and last sector must be glued, overlapping one another. Apply glue to the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe extreme sector and glue the second one on top. The body of the paper mouse in the form of a cone with edges is ready.
From black paper or cardboard, cut out a long thin strip that will be the tail of the mouse, and two ears. The ears themselves can be in the form of a circle, but you also need to draw an oblong area for attaching the ears to the body on it.
Bend this area of the ears. Make a simple accordion out of a long strip, bending the paper in small folds either in one direction or in the opposite direction.
Glue eyes, ears, tail to the body. Fill in the tip of the nose with a black felt-tip pen. Everything, the paper mouse is ready. Despite the long description, the craft does not require much time and excessive effort.

Origami mouse
- Before you make a paper mouse with your own hands, prepare a rectangular piece of paper. It needs to be bent in half, aligned, and then tucked up and down from the line in the middle. If you took two-color paper, then fold the main color up.
- Then open the right pocket and wrap it up (illustration 2).
- Straighten the part as shown in picture 3.
- Now you need to bend the left side to the right. A rhombus should form.
- Turn the wings of the right part to the right. You should get a smooth part, as in illustration 6.
- Fold it in half along a horizontal line.
- Now make a vertical fold as shown in pictures 7 and 8.
- Bend the upper right side diagonally.
- Turn the "ears" of the triangle on the left, as shown in picture 10.
- Wrap the tips of the mouse ears.
- Flip the shape.
- Bend the triangle as shown in image 13.
- Flip the shape.
- Draw with a marker eyes, nose, mouth and antennae.

And the muzzle of the mouse is made very simply:
- The square sheet is folded in turn twice in half (pictures 1 and 2).
- Then a triangle is made and its right side is bent to the left (picture 3).
- Now the top edge needs to be bent a little (picture 4).
- The bottom of the figure is tucked back (picture 5).
- It remains only to draw the eye, nose and antennae.

A master class on how to make a paper mouse so that it is as realistic as possible:
- You will need to take a square piece of paper. It is best to choose two-color leaves: white on one side and gray on the other.
- Put it in front of you with the white side up and so that it is a diamond (picture 1).
- Bend the sheet in half - connect the upper part to the bottom. And then straighten it.
- Now you need to bend the top and bottom to the fold in the middle. Do as shown in picture 1.
- Make two more folds. To do this, wrap the top and bottom of the new figure to the center (image 2).
- Now you need to turn the right side of the right side of the part to the left as shown in Figure 3.
- When all the elements are wrapped and new fold lines have formed, you need to tuck the edge of the upper triangle under the bottom (see picture 4).
- The left triangle also needs to be turned back (Figure 5).
- Now again fold the edges on the left, as in image 6.
- Fold the shape in half horizontally.
- Unscrew the triangles from above (picture 8).
- Make the ears as in image 9.
- Now you need to make a ponytail. To do this, fold the right side, as in picture 10. Then tuck the ponytail inward and fold it up again (see illustrations 11 and 12).
- Fold the tail in half and turn the figure on its side (picture 13).

This craft is so simple that you can make it not even in five minutes, but in two minutes, since for its manufacture you only need to cut two parts and insert one into the other. An excellent material for making crafts that can serve as toys, because this material has the following advantages compared to paper:
- stronger than paper
- soft, easy to bend and there are no creases in the places of inflection
- quite thick, but very easy to cut with scissors
It will make toy figurines of mice that will last a long time, even if children play with them a lot and actively.
Craft "mouse" made of felt or viscose
Like foam rubber, it is a soft material that does not leave pronounced creases after bending. Toys made from it will last longer than paper ones, but it is very difficult for children to cut it. For most preschoolers, this is likely to fail.
How to make a mouse craft
Since my daughter and I made these mice from viscose napkins when she did not go to school yet, the photos of the master class show the manufacturing process using this material as an example. You can use any other material.

This version of the toy mouse is more difficult than the previous one, as it requires the ability to sew at least the simplest basting stitch. However, children of primary school age and this option is quite capable.
How to sew a simple felt mouse toy
To sew this mouse, you will need the same template as for the previous version, but with one more detail - the third detail will be the lower part of the toy and is the same detail as for the head with the body, but without the tail and is quite a bit shorter and a bit narrower (with an emphasis on the letter "u") around the edges.
Manufacturing also takes place in a similar way, only point 4 will change and points 5 - 7 will appear.
4. Decorate the muzzle: sew eyes and a nose out of, make a mustache out of thread.
5. Sew the upper and lower parts together, leaving a small area for filling.
6. Place a filler inside the toy: synthetic winterizer, holofiber, cotton wool, etc.
