Kanzashi butterflies: wings

First you need to make wings for our butterfly. To do this, cut out squares from ribbons of different colors and sizes. Pay attention to the size - the upper wings are larger than the lower ones, and also the inner elements in the wings are smaller than the outer ones. Based on this, select the size of the tapes. Choose the color of the wings to your taste.

The upper outer wings are sharp. They are built a little differently, but the principle of operation is the same. First fold the square diagonally, then again diagonally.

Then fix the triangle with tweezers (in the picture it is drawn with a gray stripe) and connect the tips, also securing them with tweezers. Trim the ends, burn with a lighter and pinch with tweezers so that they stick together.

Turn the wing over, pinch the two folds with tweezers and cut. Then remove the tweezers and finish the edges with a lighter. The wing should be "with a hole through".

The inner upper and lower wings are made in the same way as. On the upper inner wings, the folds on the back side after trimming must be glued together.

The lower wings are made according to the principle of a double petal. To do this, fold the squares diagonally and glue (using tweezers and a lighter) the tips.

Then a small square is applied to a large one and connected with a beaded needle.

The folds on the back side need to be glued separately (that is, on the underside of the wing you should get two seams).

The tail of the butterfly is made according to the principle of a sharp petal, and the head according to the principle of a round one.

Kanzashi dragonfly

The next master class invites you to make a dragonfly using the kanzashi technique.

A ribbon dragonfly is one of the easiest crafts that you can quickly create with your own hands. To make it, prepare:

Satin ribbons are cut into pieces about six centimeters. The ends of the resulting segments are cut at an angle. Next, the edges of the corners must be glued to each other on the wrong side. After the glue dries, you need to turn the corner out in such a way as to get a kind of petal, as in the photo. After that, connect the corners at the bottom towards the outside. In this way, make three similar petals. In the photo we see how the resulting blanks should look.

The dried elements are combined with glue (a pair on each side). As a result of such actions, we get wings.

We continue the master class (MK), and at the next stage, our dragonfly should acquire a body. To do this, you need to prepare two wire segments ten centimeters long each and combine them with each other by twisting. Form a knot at the end. The remaining ends remain free.

We collect up to fourteen beads on two wires. The closing bead will be of a larger caliber. We fix the ends of the wires. As a result of such actions, our dragonfly received a body.

Making a ladybug

Materials and tools needed to create this product:

We start the master class by cutting a red satin ribbon into pieces five by five centimeters. These blanks are folded in half obliquely. The wrong side of the satin ribbon should be inside.

Such kanzashi butterflies can be made from the remnants of satin ribbons. Take a small cut and attach it to another cut, connecting with a pin. Take a thread with a needle and sew the future butterfly. Pierce the wings at the top point, thereby capturing all parts of the blanks. Insert the needle with the bead into the tail of the butterfly and return to the opposite side. Pull everything together and make a knot.

Let's make the body of the butterfly. On the pin, we collect one bead, then a rondel and 1 large bead, one hat and 5 beads. Do the same manipulations with another pin. Round off the edges with round nose pliers. Look at the photo, you should get the same body and butterfly.

Glue the body of the butterfly between the wings.

Dragonfly hairpin

Such a dragonfly, in the style of kanzashi, is made very simply with your own hands. In order to make such a master class (mk), we need the following material:

metal hairpin;
decorative material;

The master class begins with the fact that we will cut square ribbons. From white material, we make round petals. Bend one square blank. Wrap the pointed corners inwards.
